The Oregon Jewish Museum has been in its new home now for almost a year.  Much has changed for us with the move to Kearney Street, all of it exciting.  In this short time, we have presented a number of exhibitions about Oregon’s Jewish community, films, art exhibits, scholarly talks and much more. The Museum has taken its place within Oregon’s rich landscape of cultural and intellectual offerings.

With only a few weeks left to see Jews@Work: Law and Medicine, we invite you to visit soon.  This exhibition is just one example of how we bring the stories of the Jews of Oregon to life.  December is “Get-to-Know-Your-Museum Month” with free admission and special programming every Sunday.

The Oregon Jewish Museum chronicles the stories of the Jews of Oregon—stories which are still unfolding and in which we all hold a place. To fulfill our mission to narrate these stories, to preserve our community’s artifacts, and to maintain our collective history, we rely on your support.  When you invest in the Oregon Jewish Museum, you invest in preserving our community’s history.  Your support guarantees that future generations will have opportunities to learn from the past and become part of the legacy. 

Growing and sustaining a strong and vibrant member base is crucial to OJM’s success.  Membership donations make up more than 25% of our operating budget and unlike many other museums, we do not make an additional annual appeal.
