David Bennett, Judah and Tamar Born in Chicago in 1941, Bennett studied literature at Harvard University. In 1973, after 10 years as a professional opera singer, he moved to Germany to begin a career in painting. His works are in public and private collections in the U.S. and Germany, and exhibited throughout the world. "I'm always struck by the fact that Genesis is a fascinating story which runs the entire gamut of human emotions - love, hate, sexual feelings, jealousy, etc. - and does so with the simplicity and succinctness only to be found in the greatest works of art." said Bennett.
